Bio: He was born in 1985. He studied piano, composition and singing and graduated at "A. Casella" Conservatory of L'Aquila, then he continued his training in Italy and abroad with M. Mauro Cardi, Alessandro Sbordoni, Azio Corghi, Sandro Rancitelli, Cesare Scarton, Josè Maria Sciutto, Mirta Herrera, Maria Mosca, Aurelio Iacolenna and Maria Chiara Pavone. He has received many awards: the "Young Italy" award by the CNEL, the "Chimera d'Oro" International Art Prize for music innovation. In 2012 he was appointed "Honorary Citizen of Abruzzo" for his merits in music and culture. MUSICAL ROLES: Artistic Director of The International Midsummer Festival of Italy (Tagliacozzo) Principal Guest Conductor of the Puccini Festival Foundation of Torre Del Lago Conducting Guest Professor at The National Conservatory of Mexico City Head Departement of "Singing And Pop Music Class" at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory In Italy. He has been the guest conductor of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO), Istanbul National Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre Orchestra of Serbia, Puccini Philharmonic Orchestra, National Radio and Tv Symphony Orchestra of Serbia (RTS), Symphony Orchestra of Zapopan (Mexico), National Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Televison of Ukraine, National Symphony Orchestra of Thessalonika – Greece, National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, Philharmonic Orchestra of Benevento, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Mongolian State, "Marco dall'Aquila" Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Salerno “Claudio Abbado”, "Pompei Opera Festival" Symphony Orchestra, "Bellini Opera Festival" Symphony Orchestra. He also conducted for Italian, Vatican and International TV: Beethoven VII Symphony, Beethoven IX Symphony, Tchaikovsky V Symphony, Verdi Requiem, Mozart Requiem, Rossini Stabat Mater and Petite Messe Solennelle in the most important Papal Basilicas in Rome in concerts dedicated to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis and the Final of the International Sacred Music Competition. Paramax Film produced the Turandot video he conducted at the Puccini Foundation for the 90th anniversary of the first performance. He was invited to conduct Carmina Burana at the opening of the International Midsummer Festival of Italy. At the age of 22 he also graduated in Law, and today he is a lawyer trainee in Rome and Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at "Roma Tre" University; he has also a PHD in Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and Canonic Law with a specialization in Latin language, and he is currently the youngest lawyer of the Roman Rota Apostolic Tribunal.

Sempre molto personale la direzione di Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli, che gioca sui contrasti fra tempi tendenzialmente rapidi e improvvise dilatazioni. In punti come Verranno a te sull’aure o la scena della pazzia si è avuta forse una sensazione di “tirato via”, ma in quelli dove prevale il lato più scopertamente romantico della partitura l’effetto è stato certamente raggiunto. Molto buone in questo senso la scena della torre, col giusto piglio marziale, e il finale, con gli archi in bella evidenza. Da lodare senza riserve la decisione di eseguire l’opera nell’integralità quasi assoluta (mancavano giusto le variazioni finali nell’aria di Lucia, il daccapo delle cabalette dell’aria del basso e del duetto tenore-baritono e un paio di recitativi), decisione che nobilita ulteriormente la bontà dell’esecuzione.

L’orchestra del Festival Pucciniano ha eseguito le tre opere come meglio non le sarebbe stato possibile, sotto la guida del giovane maestro Jacopo Sipari da Pescasseroli, capace di esaltare le dinamiche, chiedendo spesso dei pianissimi affascinanti e non coprendo mai i cantanti, nemmeno nell’entrata degli ottoni nell’aria “Nulla silenzio”, che spesso nei teatri condanna il baritono di turno a trasformarsi in un pesce muto. Sipari da Pescasseroli sa trasmettere il suo entusiasmo, che so essere notevole; è appassionato a quello che fa e lo si vede, al di là del suo look da rockettaro che lo rende tanto simpatico e tanto normale. Non trasmette, nella sua gestualità precisa ed avvolgente, che umiltà e amore per la musica. Lo conobbi qualche anno fa in un Barbiere di Siviglia rossiniano; mi ha fatto piacere trovarlo ora in Puccini, capace di tradurre entrambi gli stili, così diversi, con la stessa vorace passione. Ottimo il suo controllo del palcoscenico: quando qualche cantante non è stato preciso, lo ha recuperato subito all’ensemble con maestria. Umiltà, capacità, passione: ci sono i presupposti per una carriera foriera di gioie per chi avrà la fortuna di ascoltarlo, soprattutto quando oserà di più, arrivando al fortissimo nei tratti in cui la folgorante dinamica pucciniana lo permette e richiede.
