Biography
Karina Flores was born in Shachty in Russia and graduated from the college choir and Rostov Conservatory of Rachmaninov with Professor Margarita Hudaverdova. She proceeded with her studies in Italy at the "Accademia di Santa Cecilia" with Renata Scotto. Between 2008 and 2010 she won the third prize in the competition G. Vishnevskaya in Moscow, the second prize in the competition "Ottavio Ziino" in Rome, and the second prize in the competition "Flaviano Labo" in Piacenza. For her interpretation of Adriana Lecouvreur at the Landestheater Innsbruck conducted by Francesco Angelico and directed by Bruno Klimek she was nominated in the category "Best female performer" for the Music Theatre Prize 2016 in Vienna. In 2017, Karina returned to Innsbruck for the role of Amelia in Un ballo in masche
