Katy’s 2015/16 season began with a debut at Opera Columbus as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro. Katy then returned to her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa to sing the soprano solo in Andrew Lippa’s I Am Harvey Milk with the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus, where she was praised for demonstrating “a beautiful legato line without sacrificing a moment of text clarity.” In the spring, Katy appeared in the American premiere of Telemann’s Brockes Passion in at the Cincinnati Bach Festival as Tochter Zion, singing an astonishing 23 arias. Katy then returned to the Lexington Philharmonic as the 1st Niña in Golijov’s Aindamar and debuted with Salt Marsh O
