Bio: Leslie Visco was born in Naples and here, at San Pietro a Majella Conservatory, she begun her studies and she graduated in singing .
In 2013 and again at San Pietro a Majella Conservatory she gets a postgraduate with honors in “ Baroque and Classical operatic singing” and in 2014 she gets a Master in Singing.
Later she strengthen the operatic repertoire with Lella Cuberli, Alessandra Rossi, Mariella Devia, Bruno de Simone and she has attended “Corso d’Opera” with Mirella Parutto, Michele Pertusi, Roberto Coviello, Alessandro Corbelli and Hugo de Ana.
She has sung in several festivals, as “ Scarlatti Society” in Naples, “Pavia Barocca“, Morelia Ancient Music Festival, Bilbao Ars Sacrum Festival, Gdansk Actus Humanus Festival , Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival , Munchener Biennale, Palacio Festivales Cantabria in Santander, 64th Ravello Festival , Purtimiro Festival, Rossini Opera Festival and MusikPodium Dresda/Venezia . She has performed with conductors as Donato Renzetti, Stefano Montanari, Diego Fasolis, Antonio Florio.
She has debuted with “Glossa” record company by publishing with “ I Turchini “ and Antonio Florio a motet by A. Scarlatti in 2012 and “ La Santissima Trinità” , oratorio by G. Veneziano, in 2013.
At the “ Premio Nazionale delle Arti 2011 “ in the section Ensemble she has won the first prize and she has received in 2014, at “International Sacred Music Competition “ of Rome an “Oratorio” special prize; at “24th Clermont Ferrand singing competition” in 2015 she is the only Italian finalist. Still in 2105 she has been invited for the 1st Ryan Opera Center International Residency which took place in at Chicago Lyric Opera and she attended the “Accademia Rossiniana“ in Pesaro, directed by Alberto Zedda.
Since 2014 she has sung at “Festival Valle dell’Itria “ in Martina Franca, Opera Theatre in Osnabruck for “Nozze di Figaro” by W.A.Mozart, Teatro Rossini in Pesaro for “Viaggio a Reims” by G. Rossini, Teatro Bellini in Catania for “Vedova Allegra” by F. Lehar, Teatro Lirico in Cagliari for “La Bella dormente nel bosco” by O. Respighi, Teatro Regio in Turin for ”Orfeo” by C. Monteverdi, Teatro Verdi in Pisa and Santander International Festival.
In November 2018 she has performed in Teatro San Carlo in Naples for “Siroe re di Persia” by L. Vinci and, in the same year, she has sung Monteverdi’s works with “La lira di Orfeo” ensemble at Teatro Farnese in Parma . In 2019 she has been guest of Clermont Ferrand Opera House for “Marc’Antonio e Cleopatra” by J.A. Hasse further than having performed for Festival Misteria Paschalia in Krakow and Ancient Music Festival of Utrecht.
