Bio: Lisa Algozzini ​is a young Italian-American soprano who has already been recognized for having a powerful stage presence and a voice that possesses a colorful, rich, Italianate quality. Most recently she has sung Musetta in La bohème with the Opernspiele Munot in Switzerland which was praised for "setting the perfect scene and the audience's favorite" by the Schaffhauser Nachrichten, the title role of Alcina with the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in Germany which was described as "powerful and rich in substance" by Der Tagesspiegel, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at the Teatro de la Paz in Mexico, Trentino Music Festival in Italy and at the Manhattan Opera in New York, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at the State Opera Plovdiv and the State Opera Stara Zagora in Bulgaria, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel with the Festival de Opera San Luis in Mexico, Micaëla in Carmen at Festival Santa Florentina in Spain noted by La Vanguardia for her "dramatic intensity," Poppea in L'incoronazione di Poppea with the Greek Opera Festival in Athens, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni in Vienna, Despina in Così fan tutte where she was partnered with Bruno Pratico as Don Alfonso at the Teatro del Pavone in Italy, Mademoiselle Silberklang in Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor with the National Theatre of Malta (Teatru Manoel), Zerlina in Don Giovanni in New York, Adina in L'elisir d'amore in Croatia, Mahler's ​Symphony No. 4 ​with the Tonkünstler Ensemble in Vienna, Guest Soloist in concerts with the Bacau Philharmonic and the Podkarpackiej Philharmonic and has made her Carnegie Hall Debut ​as the 2nd Place Winner ​in the Nico Castel International Master Singer Competition.
