Biography
Luka Ortar (born June 21, 1985) started his music career by playing the trumpet, which saw him successfully completing six grades of basic music education. He soon enrolled in Srednja glasbena in baletna šola Ljubljana (The Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory) and subsequent to the three years of singing lessons with prof. Janko Volčanšek, he further improved his technique under the tutelage of prof. Matjaž Robavs and prof. Helena Fojkar-Zupančič. Prior to his solo debut, Luka was a member of Veter Chamber Choir as well as a member of Ave Chamber Choir. Apart from participating in the Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet (SNG Opera in balet) project choir, he continues to work with the RTV Slovenia Chamber Choir performing at concerts and project recording sessions for the RTV S
