Lynn Kao is regarded as one of the most inspiring Asian American female conductors of her time. Her career started after a sensational performance of Evita, where she jumped in at the last minute to conduct the Hessische Staatsorchester Wiesbaden. She was the first Asian American female conductor to conduct the Wiesbaden State Orchestra in the Wiesbaden Opera House. Her vast repertoire consists of not only opera, but also includes musicals and operetta such as My Fair Lady, Candide , Graf and Luxemburg, Fledermaus...etc Ms. Kao's recent ballet production “Weltenwanderer“, where she worked closely with choreographers Itzik Galili, Edward Clug and Marco Geocke, brought the ballet and orchestra collaboration to a brand new level.
