Bio: Born in Palermo, she began her piano studies at the Conservatorio “Vincenzo Bellini” of Palermo. At the age of sixteen she started her vocal studies, and in 2017 she graduated in singing with Maestro Ilia Aramayo Sandivari at the Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” in Parma. She attended several Masterclasses with Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, Fiorenza Cedolins, Renato Bruson, Chris Merritt, Daniela Barcellona, Alessandro Vitiello, Fabio Sparvoli, Roberto Frontali, Davide Livermore, Eva Mei, Jaume Aragall, Federico Maria Sardelli, Roger Vignoles and Mariella Devia. She continued her studies with Marianna Pizzolato. In 2003 she represented Italy in the USA, singing under the conduction of Gianluca Martinenghi on the occasion of the Remembrance Day of the Twin Towers attack at Ground Zero and during the Columbus Day parade in New York and also as a guest at ABC Network and in Washington. In 2013 she debuted as Zulma in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri and Berta in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in a tournee in Italy and Croatia. In 2016 she debuted at the Teatro Regio in Parma as Ernestina in Rossini’s L’occasione fa il ladro, conducted by Alessandro D’Agostini and directed by Andrea Cigni, as Annina in La traviata by Verdi at the Orizzonti Festival in Tuscany, conducted by Sergio Alapont and directed by Angelica Dettori, as Smeton in Donizzetti’s Anna Bolena in collaboration with “Imparolopera Project” at the Teatro Regio in Parma, as Suor Zelatrice in Puccini’s Suor Angelica in Piacenza. She took part as soloist at the first italian performance of Tehillim by Steve Reich in Parma, conducted by Danilo Grassi. In 2018 she performed as soloist in Carovana Volante - Racconti di Rossini by Giovanni D’Aquila at the Teatro Massimo of Palermo. She is a full-fledged member of the “Centre de Perfeccionament Placido Domingo” at Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia where she debuted during the opening season as Dritte Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte conducted by Lothar Koenigs and directed by Graham Vick, and as Giovanna in Verdi’s Rigoletto, conducted by Roberto Abbado and directed by Emilio Sagi, alongside with Leo Nucci. In 2020 she won the “VoceallOpera” contest in Milan where she sang L’italiana in Algeri conducted by Marco Alibrando and directed by Gianmaria Aliverta.
