Martin Lechleitner

Tenor
Bio: During his studies at the Tyrolean Conservatory Innsbruck ( Prof. Gabriele Erhard ) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where he completed his master's degree in opera with distinction ( Prof. Karlheinz Hanser ), Martin F. Lechleitner was able to become Contino Belfiore / Finta Giradiniera, Knusperhexe / Hansel & Gretel, present as Beppe / Pagliacci and Don Basilio / Nozze di Figaro. In 2017 he made his debut at the Tiroler Landestheater as Nathanael / Les contes d`''Hoffmann and as Tamino / Magic Flute in the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn . In the operetta field he made his debut as Alfred / Fledermaus at the Coburg Operetta Summer , at the Theater der Musikalische Komödie in St. Petersburg (operetta gala) and as Graf Gustl von Pottenstein in the successful Land des Smiles - production of the Seefestspiele Mörbisch 2019. Last season he made his debut as Pedrillo / Entführung aus dem Serail at Den Jyske Opera Aahus. Another interesting facet of the young artist is the genre of music of the 20s and 30s, with which he regularly performs as a singer of the Divertimento Viennese at the great Viennese balls (Coffee Boiler Ball, Vienna Ball of Sciences, Ball of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, etc.). Martin Friedrich Lechleitner dedicates himself to song singing with great passion. In addition to projects in cooperation with the Tyrolean State Museum Ferdinandeum, recitals have taken him to Athens (Theocharakis Foundation) and Bayreuth (Villa Wahnfried), among others. In this area he works closely with the pianist Annette Seiler, with whom he gives concerts on historical instruments at the Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck. The tenor is equally committed to the music of the 20th century and new music. His interpretation of Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire should be emphasized. In 2018 he worked as Wilfried Owen in the world war opera "Strange Meeting" by the composer Norbert Zehm. He also premieres works by up-and-coming composers of his generation. The year 2021 is entirely dedicated to contemporary music. In addition to the resumption of the opera Strange Meeting in a supplemented version with a prologue by the composer, Martin Lechleitner is as Snaut in the science fiction opera Solaris by Dai Fujikura at the Neue Oper Wien , as well as in the world premiere of "Inkognito Royal" by the Danish To experience composer Karsten Fundal again at Den Jyske Opera in Aarhus.
