Matthew Lutton is a theatre and opera director based in Melbourne. He is currently the Artistic Director and CEO at the Malthouse Theatre, where he recently directed for the company Black Rider: Casting of the Magic Bullets in collaboration with Victorian Opera and Melbourne International Arts Festival. In 2018, his production of Picnic at Hanging Rock played at the Barbican in London, after a sell out season at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh in 2017.
