Mikael Horned

Mikael Horned, baritone, was born in Linköping, Sweden, and has sung at several of Sweden's prominent stages such as the Royal Opera House and the Drottningholm Palace Theater in Stockholm. ​​ Mikael began his 2023/24 season performing the role of Anténor in Rameau's Dardanus in a production staged by Gilbert Blin at Confidencen Opera & Music Festival in Stockholm, and will go on to sing Marcello in La bohème at Theater für Niedersachsen, in Hildesheim, Germany, in a new production directed by Juana Inés Cano Restrepo and conducted by Florian Ziemen. ​ The season 22/23 included a return to the Royal Opera House in Stockholm as Schaunard in La bohème, a production directed by José Cura and conducted by Tobias Ringborg.
