Biography
Ukrainian mezzo-soprano Nataliia Kukhar is an ensemble member of the Aalto Theater Essen where in the season 2023/2024 appears as Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Sacerdotessa (Aida) and Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte) under the baton of Andrea Sanguineti, Maffio Orsini (Luzcrezia Borgia) under Tommaso Turchetta and as Catarina in the Tatjana Gürbaca’s new production of Fausto by Louise Bertin under Andreas Spering. She was a member of the International Opera Studio OperAvenir in the Theater Basel during the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons where saw Nataliia as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia directed by Nikolaus Habjan under Hélio Vida and Maddalena in the Vincent Huguet’s production of Rigoletto under Michele Spotti.
