He was nominated for the "A.D.A.M.I. Cannes Talent Award 2002". He studied singing with Mireille ALCANTARA (National superior Conservatory of Music of Paris) and with international singer Serguej LARIN and has won several awards for his singing. In order to improve himself, he also works with Peter MATTEI, Diana DAMRAU and Michaël VOLLE when it's possible. Recently he won the International singing Competition of Budapest and created the King SHA of the “Worldwide Creation” in Martyna Kosecka’s Sha-Klotho conducted by Berislav SIPUS in the National Opera of Croatia and in Konzerthall der Wiener SangerKnaben in Vienna. It was broadcast on ARTE TV. He sung the roles of The Sacristain in Tosca in Opera de Nimes conducted by A.Cabley, Figaro and the Count in Le Nozze di Figaro, Leporello in Don Giovanni , Papageno in The Magic Flute, Jupiter in Orphée aux Enfers, Agamemnon in La Belle Hélène, Ben in The Telephone and Haly in Italiana in Algeri conducted by Sir Roger NORRIGTON at Théâtre des CHAMPS-ELYSEES in Paris, alongside Marie-Nicole LEMIEUX that, according to Alfred Caron of Opéra Magasine : « The excellent Haly of Nicolas Rigas — very beautiful voice of baryton-bass well led — is composing a character of wrongly obsequious Butler and very successful joker ». In 2008, he did the production of the Tales of Hoffmann at the Sénat in Paris, staged by JULIE DEPARDIEU and conducted by Philippe HUI, where he sang the four Devils. He sang Papageno of The Magic Flute at the Theatre du CHÂTELET in Paris conducted by Paul KUENTZ and recently in Montréal in Canada with maestro Louis LAVIGUEUR. Then, he sang the role of the Nephew in the zarzuela The Nephews of Captain Grant conducted by Tito MUNOZ at the National Opera of Nancy, as well as Falke in Die Fledermaus of STRAUSS conducted by Amaury Du CLOSEL in the Opera of Clermont-Ferrand and Guglielmo from Cosi fan Tutte conducted by Olivier HOLT in Fontainebleau Castle. He performed as the bass soloist in the Small Solemn Mass by Rossini and Ste Cécile Mass of Gounod at the Chartres'Cathedral conducted by Jean-Yves OSSONCE and organised by Ève RUGGIERIE and sang under his direction Beppo of PUCCINI's Gianni Schicchi at the Opéra de Tours directed by Paul-Emile FOURNY. He sang and played Argan in the Imaginary Invalid by Marc-Antoine Charpentier/ Molière and Figaro of The Barber of Seville in the Versailles Castle and at the Avignon's Festival. He performed Verloc from The Secret Agent conducted by Sara JOBIN at the Center of Contemporary Opera in NEW YORK, at Opera d’Avignon and in Szeged in Hongary. The FIGARO Newspaper called him: a “Revelation” and a “Heartbreaker”! He was Korolev in the British comtemporary opera Laika, The Spacedog conducted by the composer Russell HEPELWHITE with English Touring Opera in LONDON and at the Opéra d’Avignon and broadcast on ARTE TV. He was the Secret Police officer in the Consul of Menotti at the Théâtre de l’Athénée in Paris conducted by Inaki ENCINA-OYON, Escamillo in Carmen conducted by J. PERRUCHE and directed Don Giovanni in Alger for the re-opening of the OperaHouse in december 2014, where he sung Masetto and the Comander conducted by A. KOUIDER. This season, he was Alcindoro in la Bohème conducted by Leo HUSSEIN at Opéra de ROUEN, Scarpia from Tosca at the Pezenas’ Festival in October, Valère in Le Médecin malgré lui of GOUNOD at Opera de Rennes in November and December, Benoit and Alcindoro in la Bohème at Opéra de Massy in March 2018 and Germont from Traviata, directed by Mireille DELUNSH, at Opéras d'Alsace in April 2018. He will be Arnolphe /Lindorff in the adaptation of l’Ecole des Femmes and Hoffman's Tales of Molière/Offenbach in the Versailles Castle in June 2018 that he sang allready in Opéra d’Avignon in October 2017 and Calchas of Offenbach's Belle Hélène in Toulouse in October 2018.
