Olivia Doutney is a young Swiss-British soprano with a Masters in Music Performance from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. In November 2017, she debuted at the Grand Théâtre de Genève in the role of Ursuline in Saint-Saëns’ Ascanio. In September 2017, she made her debut as a soloist with the Geneva Chamber Ochestra, performing Anton Webern’s Sechs Lieder nach Gedichte von Georg Trakl under the baton of Arie Van Beek, in a concert streamed by Espace 2. She sang again with them in 2018, this time the role of the Virgin Mary in Berlioz’s epic opus, L’Enfance du Christ. She has also sung as a soloist with the Musique des Lumières Orchestra, conducted by Facundo Agudin. She has sung many operatic roles, most recently debuting the role of Mimì in La Bohème with the Jeunesses Musicales Festiv
