Bio: The swedish soprano Paulina Pfeiffer studied with the distinguished dramatic soprano Katarina Dalayman. She finished her studies at The University College of Opera in Stockholm in December 2008 and was also educated at Kulturama/classical singing and at Operastudio 67. She made her operatic debut in 2006 as Margaretha in Boito's Mefistofeles at Södra Teatern, Stockholm.   In 2010/11 she made her debut at the Royal Opera in Stockholm singing Mimi in La Boheme and Adalgisa in Norma, which she also sang at Théâtre du Châtelet 2009/10. Paulina returned the following season, 2011/12 to the Royal Opera in Stockholm singing Mimi in La Bohème as well as her first Judith in Bluebeard's Castle. She also appeared in a production by Malmö Opera "Sopraner" (Sopranos) touring in the south of Sweden. In 2012 she sang her first Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana at Ystad Teater and her first Amelia in Un ballo in maschera at Folkoperan in Stockholm. In January 2013 she returned to the Royal Opera, Stockholm to sing Mimi in La Bohème conducted by Lawrence Renes.  During the season 2013/14 she sang Judith in Bluebeard's Castle in Bogota, Sifare in a concert version of Mozart’s ”Mitridate, Re di ponto” in Stockholm, a walküre in "Amforta" written by the swedish composer Jonas Forssell and she returned to Théâtre du Châtelet for a new production of John Adam’s ”A Flowering tree”. The season 2014/15 included Marie Kröyer in "Alfvén" at Ystadoperan, Adalgisa in Norma at Royal Music Festivals in Stockholm, ANTI, a production on tour at Malmö Opera and in Amman, Jordan and several lieder concerts together with pianist Inese Klotina.   This season includes Recitals at the Royal Opera in Stockholm, Opera Concert at Dalhalla, Soloist in Thomas Hewitt-Jones' "Panathenaia" at the British Museum in London and Cecilio in Mozart's "Lucio Silla" at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Paulina has been awarded a number of scholarships and prizes;  in 2008, the Barbro Salén Foundation Scholarship and in 2010 she recieved the Birgit Nilsson Scholarship. She also received the Jenny Lind award in 2007, with the commendation for " a warm and rich voice, honest radiation and an obvious and inspiring music making." After the Jenny Lind award followed a summer concert tour in Sweden and the US. Other scholarships she has received include the Bayreuth Scholarship from the Swedish Wagner Society, the Confidencen Scholarship from the Anders Wall Foundation, the Alice Babs Music Scholarship from Lion's and the Gillis Bratt Scholarship from Konstnärsringen. In June 2012 Paulina recieved the Bernadotte Art Award.
