Biography
Hong Kong Soprano Rachel Kwok Hin recently received the Espoir Prize in the 19th Osaka International Music Competition. Besides her busy performing and teaching career, she serves in the church as music minister, sharing her belief with music. She performs extensively as a soloist and chorister, from Baroque to contemporary music. Her recent operatic roles include Olympia in Les contes d’Hoffmann, and Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. Recent highlights including performance of Pulitzer-winning opera Angel’s Bone by Du Yun (Asia premiere), in New Vision Art Festival 2018, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, and Mass in B minor, with Bachfest Malaysia, St. John Passion, and Ein feste Burg, with Hong Kong Bach Festival, staged version of Ich habe Genug, Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht (Coffee C
