Biography
While studying piano and guitar, Serenad Uyar began singing in Turkey. Her talents as a musician and vocalist quickly earned her Music Conservatory awards. Immediately noticed by professionals, she first stepped on stage in the rôle of Olympia in Jacques Offenbach's " Les Comtes d'Hoffman " at the Izmir State Opera. Miss Uyar then won the AS.LI.CO competition in Milan and came to Europe. She did an internship in an opera studio in France, the CNIPAL, for the 2004-2005 season during which she sang: Anna in Donizetti's Maria Stuarda at the Marseille Opera and the soprano part in Beethoven's Christ on the Mount of Olives at the Sacred Music Festival, with the conductor Kenneth Montgomery. That same year, she sang in Istanbul and at Canakkale in Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and in Beethoven's N
