Bio: Born in Rome in 1984, Sesto Quatrini obtained three Master’s Degrees in conducting, composition and trumpet, studying at Conservatory of Music of L'Aquila and at Civica Scuola di Musica "Claudio Abbado" in Milan. He currently holds the position of Artistic Director of Lithuanian National Opera Theatre in Vilnius (LNOBT). From 2015 to 2016 he regularly has been Assistant and Cover Conductor for Maestro Fabio Luisi both at NYC Metropolitan Opera House and at renewed Festival della Valle d'Itria, where, in July 2017 he debuted in Italy, with the new production of Verdi’s Un giorno di regno, which brought him great acclaims of critic and audience. Previously Sesto founded two opera companies Les Voix Concertantes in Paris and Bare Opera in NYC debuting La traviata, Rigoletto, L'elisir d'amore and L'Enfant et les Sortileges (Ravel), L'Enfant Prodigue (Debussy), Goyescas (Granados), La cambiale di matrimonio (Rossini) and Figaro Figaro (a new dramaturgic and musical fusion of Le Nozze di Figaro and Il barbiere di Siviglia).  He conducted several Orchestras, among others: London Philarmonic Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philarmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, National Philarmonic of Russia, Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Sinfónica de Tenerife, Symphonique de Saint-Étienne Loire, Philarmonique de la Méditerranée, Frankfurt Opern and Museumorchester, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Orchestra Internazionale d'Italia, Orchestra Haydn of Bolzan, Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini of Parma, Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali and LaVerdi of Milan; Orchestras of Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio of Turin, Arena of Verona, Comunale of Bologna, Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, La Fenice of Venice, Carlo Felice of Genova, Maggio Musicale of Florence, Petruzzelli of Bari and he collaborated with soloists such as Elina Garanca, Sondra Radvanovsky, Piotr Bezcala, Matthew Polenzani, Mariusz Kwiecen, Roberto Alagna, Olga Peretyatko, Kristine Opolais, Markus Werba, Nino Machaidze and many others.  Among his recent and future engagements I Capuleti e i Montecchi at LNOBT, Le nozze di Figaro at Filarmonico of Verona, Vaccaj's Giulietta e Romeo at Festival della Valle d'Itria, L'elisir d'amore, La traviata and Il barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro La Fenice of Venice; concerts and Galas at Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow, in Portorico, at Alte Oper Frankfurt, at Opera of Riga, at La Fenice, at Filarmonico of Verona, at Baltic Music Season, at Municipale of Piacenza, at Opéra de Saint-Étienne, at Teatro Comunale of Bologna and at Teatro Lirico of Cagliari; La Traviata at La Fenice, La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia and I Capuleti e i Montecchi plus a Lyric-Symphonic Gala at LNOBT, New Year's Eve concert in Riga with Latvian NSO, Don Carlo at Opera Las Palmas, Tosca at Teatro Municipale of Piacenza, Mercadante's Francesca da Rimini in Tokyo for the Japan Opera Foundation, symphonic concerts in Budapest with Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra; La gazza ladra at Teatro Sao Carlo of Lisboa, his debut at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg with NWD Philharmonie, Offenbach's Coscoletto and rare Manfroce's Ecuba both at Festival della Valle d'Itria; in the last season, Carmen at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Rossini's Otello at Oper Frankfurt, L’elisir d’amore at Tiroler Festspiele and at Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse; Bernstein's Candide, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, Anna Bolena at LNOBT, La Sonnambula at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Anna Bolena, Manon Lescaut at Oper Frankfurt, Don Pasquale at Zürich Opernhaus, Il Turco in Italia at Glyndebourne Festival, new production of Tosca in Piacenza.
