Soprano Shawnette Sulker is acclaimed for her “heart-breaking poignancy” and “beautifully tuned soprano” by the San Francisco Chronicle and for her “enchanting vocal splendor” by the Leipziger Volkszeitung. She has recently sung Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Cunegonde (Candide), and Constanze (Abduction from the Seraglio). Additional repertoire includes Die Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte), Musetta (La Bohème), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi). As a concert soloist, she has sung Mozart's Grand Mass in C minor, Bach’s Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen and Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate, to name a few. Ms. Sulker’s international credits include a tour of Die Fledermaus in the Netherlands and Belgium as Adele and orchestra concerts featuring Porgy and Bess highlights
