Biography
Born 1987 in Codlea,Romania,Silvia Micu studied for 12 years piano in Brasov, Romania, and in Verona, Italy. In 2007 she starts the opera singing lessons with Maria Slatinaru Nistor at the Bucharest National University for Music and gets a Master Degree. From 2013 on, she took part at celebrated soprano’s Mariana Nicolesco Master Classes singing in Romania and around Europe. Awards: - 1st Prize at the Ionel Perlea Competiton ; - 1st Prize at the Mihail Jora Competiton; - The Verona Music Academy Prize for The best interpretation of a Mozart aria; - The Peter Maag Prize at the Maria Callas Voice Competition; - 1st Prize at the Romanian National Song Competition; - 1st Prize at the Hariclea Darclée International Voice Competition
