Sofija Perović

Sofija Perovic is young stage director, harpsichordist, actress, literary critic and author from Serbia, who lives between Belgrade and Paris. She holds D.M.A. degree in harpsichord from University of Arts in Belgrade and PhD in Literature from University of Belgrade, as well as three master’s degrees: in harpsichord, in French literature and Master 2 degree in Theatre studies - Opera directing from Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris. She is dedicated to promoting opera to the new and young audeinces with her modern and original approach to the opera stage directing which the result of her experience as musician and as actress. She is founder and director of the Association BG ART with which she produced and staged Serbian and regional premiere of Udo Zimmermann's opera "Die Weisse Rose
