Ștefan von Korch is currently one of the most appreciated tenors of Romania. The tenor with “musical skills, phenomenal high Cs and an iron will”, as he was described by music critics, has taken part as a main lead on national and international stages from the age of 21. His role in “I Puritani” achieved his recognition as one of the few tenors in the world that can perform this work at the highest level. The connoisseurs of the genre know the difficulty of this bel canto opera, which consists of singing the F (Neo-latin: Fa) note over the C (Neolatin: Do) note, dreamed of by any tenor.
