Eine „rettende Brücke aus der Sprachlosigkeit“ nannte Mirko Schönfeldt die hochwertige Darbietung des aus der Ukraine stammenden Sängers Taras Semenov, der von Grétel Jazeron am Piano begleitet wurde.
Metallisches Tenor-Timbre, das aber durchaus noch etwas mehr Volumen vertragen könnte, lässt der junge Ukrainer Taras Semenov in Tostis "Serenata" und Leoncavallos "O Colombina" aus dem "Bajazzo" aufblitzen.
