Vincenzo Bellini’s bel canto masterpiece Norma returns to Hong Kong City Hall for the first time following its local premiere in 1989!
Ever since its first performance in 1831 at La Scala, Italy, Norma has become the pinnacle of bel canto opera. Even legendary sopranos who took on the title role found it challenging to master such demanding vocal passages. They are also expected to interpret the multifaceted character with nuance. Norma, as the high priestess, faces complex struggles and emotions. In particular, the conflicts between duties, love and personal desires.

繼1989年在香港首演，貝里尼美聲歌劇著作《諾瑪》重臨香港大會堂！
《諾瑪》自1831年於意大利斯卡拉大劇院首演，便成為美聲歌劇中巔峰之作。歌劇中極具挑戰性的音樂都難倒古今傳奇的女高音。另外，她們亦要細緻地演出女主角複雜的情緒，尤其是諾瑪作為大祭師，周旋於責任、愛情及私慾之間的矛盾。
