This season Taiwanese tenor Ya-Chung Huang makes roles debuts as David in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and as Mime in Siegfried at the Deutsche Oper, Berlin. As a member of the Ensemble at the Deutsche Oper, Berlin, his appearances include: Mime Das Rheingold (directed by Stefan Herheim); Pedrillo The Abduction from the Seraglio; Goro Madama Butterfly; Monostatos The Magic Flute; Flute A Midsummer Night's Dream; The young man The miracle of Heliane (directed by Christof Loy); Music Master Manon Lescaut (conducted by Sir Simon Rattle) and Pong Turandot.
