Bio: Born in Etropole, Bulgaria. In recent seasons Zvetelina Vassileva is regularly invited by the Wichita Grand Opera in Kansas, where she sings in the premieres of "La Boheme" - Mimi, "Otello" - Desdemona, "The Marriage of Figaro" - Countess Rosina, "William Tell" - Princess Matilda or the title roles of "Aida" and "Turandot". Currently considered one of the referential Turandot of the moment. During the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons Vassileva sings in the premieres of “Turandot” and “Aida” at the Split Summer Festival (Croatia) and in Bulgaria the productions of the operas “Turandot”, “Don Carlo” and "Carmen". Notable participation in the 9th Beethoven Symphony at the Opera Stadium in Bulgaria.
In 2018 the soprano is invited by the Shanghai Grand Lyric Theater for the new production of “Turandot” with the prestigious director Renato Palumbo. He also plans to work with teachers such as R. Ando, Marco Berti or A. Veronesi.
In March 2018 he debuts in the new production of “Turandot” of the National Opera of Stara Zagora and in early April, Vassileva will be a soloist at the “Stabat Mater” of Dvorak in Bulgaria Hall, Sofia. They will continue their performances of "Aida" and "Turandot" at the Pravets International Festival and at Pleven Summer Theater. Again "Turandot" at the Savonlinna Festival directed by Mº Alberto Veronesi with a production of the Puccini Festival. He will return to Wichita Grand Opera with the opera “Don Giovanni” as Doña Ana.
