Beomseok Choi

The baritone Beomseok Choi was born in South Korea. He started his vocal education at the national university in Busan. And he studied his Master in opera-singing at the Musikhochschule in Dresden and then Konzertexamen at the Musikhochschule in Lübeck with Prof. Manuela Uhl. In 2018 he won the 1st prize at 53rd International Competition “Antonín Dvořák” in the Czech Republic and 3rd prize and audience prize at the the 3rd International Competition “Zinka Milanov” in Croatia. He was also prize winners of the International Singing Competition of the Rheinsberg. In 2019 he had his professional carrier debut as Mercutio from Gounod’s opera Roméo et Juliette at the “Croatia National Theatre” in Rijeka and at the “Teatro Alighier” in Ravenna, Italy.
