Brigitte Tornay

Born in Raron, she began studying the guitar at the age of 9 with Maestro Benoit Kiener and singing at the age of 11 with Regina Tondi. You studied and graduated at the HKB Conservatory in Bern with Christian Hilz. At the moment she is attending the advanced course in Performance and will finish in July. She made her debut at the age of 17 in Paul Linke's „Frau Luna“, later in Carl Zeller's „Der Vogelhändler“. Her first major role was the "Hattie" of "Kiss me Kate" performed with Maestro Carmelo Balmelli. Also with Balmelli she played the soloist for Edvard Gregson's opera "The King Go Forths“, this orchestra won the orchestral music competition. Later she made her debut as Michaela in "Carmen" in Fondo, as Adina in "Elisir d'amore" in Verbania. You sang in concerts in Novara and in Switze
