Bruno Almeida

Born in Lisbon he is one of the most talented Portuguese tenors of his generation. He had his operatic debut in 2010, in the 17th century Portuguese chamber opera As Taças de Hymineu, recreating the role of Federico in a staged production by the Sintra Opera Studio. He debuted at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos (Lisbon) in March 2011, in the role of Primeiro Segurança, at the world première of Nuno Corte-Real’s opera Banksters.
