Biography
CARRIE-ANN WILLIAMS Soprano Carrie-Ann Williams spent the summer covering the title role in Alcina with Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Carrie-Ann has developed a close relationship with both the Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Opera and appears regularly with them. Previous roles at the Festival include Laura in Luisa Miller and cover First Lady in Magic Flute. Previous roles for Glyndebourne Touring Opera include Marzelline in Fidelio, First Lady and cover Pamina in Magic Flute and Gianetta and cover Armida in Rinaldo. This season Carrie-Ann makes her debut with English National Opera covering Michaela in Carmen. Recently, Carrie-Ann made her debut at the Théatre du Châtelet covering the role of Merab in Handel’s Saul. Other recent operatic roles include: The Fox: Janácek’s The Cunnin
