Elizabeth Connell Prize for Dramatic Sopranos

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the next competition will be held in 2021.

This competition is open to all aspiring dramatic sopranos and mezzo sopranos who show the potential to move into the more dramatic repertoire.
$44,000 in Prizes. Open to the sopranos of the world who have the ability to sing the more dramatic repertoire. Round 1: Entry by DVD/Mp4 video link. Round 2: Live auditions. Round 3 in Sydney. All repertoire is accepted.

Five finalists will be flown to Australia to compete. Up to $2000 per finalist will be given to cover the airfare. Finalists will be billeted with host families in Sydney. See website for full details.
