National Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers

Competition is open to applicants ages 21 - 35. Singers must be prepared to pursue a professional operatic stage career, be present for all phases of the Competition, and reside in the United States or Canada.

Five singers are selected from the New York Regional Auditions and five singers are chosen at the Los Angeles Regional Auditions. Ten Finalists will compete at the Grand Finals Concert in Los Angeles with orchestral accompaniment. The New York winners will receive transportation and housing in Los Angeles.
