Cyrielle Ndjiki Nya is an emerging soprano whose voice blends classical rigor with emotional depth. She discovered opera at the age of sixteen after several years of piano training — a turning point that sparked a profound and lasting artistic calling. A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she studied with Chantal Mathias, she has also refined her artistry within prestigious academies such as Opera Fuoco, the Jaroussky Academy, and Orsay-Royaumont. Along the way, she has worked with exceptional mentors, including Barbara Bonney, Karine Deshayes, and Dame Felicity Palmer. Cyrielle has appeared on major opera stages, including Opéra de Bordeaux (Die Walküre, Porgy and Bess), Opéra de Montpellier (Aida, Die Zauberflöte), and Opéra de Saint-Étienne (Macbeth). Her discography includes Muses Éternelles (Mirare), recorded with pianist Kaoli Ono, and Voyage à Paris (B Records), both praised for their poetic nuance and musical sensitivity.
