Biography
Giorgi Chelidze, bass Was born on May 4, 1987 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatory in 2016 with MA in Vocal Performance. While being a student at the Conservatory Giorgi participated in the BYULBYUL International Vocal Competition (Baku, Azerbaijan) winning the 1st prize. He was also awarded the 1st prize at the International Vocal Competition “Giovanni Martinelli-Aureliano Pertile” (Montanana, Italy) and the 2nd prize at the International Competition “Citta di Crispiano’’ (Crispiano, Italy). Giorgi made his debut at the Tbilisi Opera House singing the part of Dulcamara in L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti.
