Ivo Yordanov

Ivo Yordanov is born in Varna, Bulgaria in 1980 (age 33). He graduated in 2006 from the State Music Academy in the class of Ass. Prof. Christina Anghelakova and later specialised at the Academy Boris Christoff in Rome under Mirella Parutto and Antonio Boyer and then at the Opera Studio of Santa Cecilia Academy under Renata Scotto, Anna Vandi and Cesare Scarton. Ivo represented Bulgaria at the 2007 edition of the BBC Cardiff “Singer of the World” Competition and being a prize winner of International Singing Competition “Comunita Europea” 2009 in Spoleto, he performed for two seasons as part of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale, gaining experience from other prize winners of the Competition such as Sonia Ganassi, Mariella Devia, Renato Bruson.
