Maria Teresa Leva

Maria Teresa Leva was born in Reggio Calabria in 1987 and graduated with honors from the Francesco Cilea Conservatory in her hometown. In 2013 she won the "Ottavio Ziino" singing competition in Rome and in the same year she received the special prize of the jury at the "Città di Bologna" competition. In 2014 she made her debut in the role of Mimi in LA BOHEME at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and shortly thereafter as Micaëla in CARMEN, with great success with both critics and audiences, as well as her debut as Donna Elvira in DON GIOVANNI in a production of the Lombardy Theater directed by Graham Vick.
