Young Ukrainian baritone Oleh Lebedyev currently residing in Germany. Last season performed Morales Carmen at Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen, Schaunard (cover) La Bohème at Aalto Theater in Essen and Samuel The Pirates of Pensanze in Wuppertal. New roles this season are Silvano Un ballo in maschera, Barone Douphol La Traviata, Graf Lamoral Arabella in Essen, Bosun Billy Budd and Cavaliere di Belfiore Un giorno di regno in Gelsenkirchen. In September 2022 appeared in the role of René in Andreas Tarkmann’s opera Didos Geheimnis in the Christuskirche in Hannover. 2019-2021 I was a part of Centre de Perfeccionament Placido Domingo at Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia (YAP of Opera Valencia). There I could sing roles such as Belcore in L’elisir d’amore, Enrico in M. Garcia’s L´
