Phillip Bullock

Praised by Opera News for his “appealingly suave baritone” and his "strong presence", Phillip K. Bullock, a native of Washington DC, has been featured in operas, recitals and concerts, throughout the United States. Most recently, Phillip premiered the roles of Cato and the Watchman in the new, critically acclaimed opera Castor & Patience, written by composer Gregory Spears and poet Tracy K. Smith. Additionally, Phillip premiered Diane White-Clayton’s comissioned work, Many Mansions. ​ Equally at home in genres of gospel and pop music as well as classical music, Phillip is a proponent of new american works, and performs in both productions and workshops celebrating fusions of these styles. Most notably, he performed in the provocative production of Deep Blue Sea with the Bill T. Jones/A
