Viel zu lange musste aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie auf Live-Musik, insbesondere auf Chormusik verzichtet werden. Deren Rückkehr auf die Bühne der Laeiszhalle wird in der Saison 2022/23 mit einem Optimismus ausstrahlenden, unsterblichen Meisterwerk gefeiert. Im Rahmen der Reihe »Morgen Musik« leitet Chefdirigent Sylvain Cambreling Joseph Haydns »Die Schöpfung«.

War im Vorjahr bereits die Ouvertüre »Die Vorstellung des Chaos« zu hören, so stehen diesmal – passenderweise an einem Sonntagvormittag im Frühling – alle drei Teile des vollständigen Oratoriums auf dem Programm. Als Gesangssolisten sind dabei die Sopranistin Mandy Fredrich, der Tenor Werner Güra und der Bariton Markus Eiche zu erleben, dazu singt die Europa Chor Akademie Görlitz, deren Zusammenarbeit mit den Symphonikern Hamburg sich bereits in zahllosen gemeinsamen Konzerten bewährt hat.

Live music, especially choral music, had to be avoided for far too long due to the corona pandemic. Their return to the Laeiszhalle stage will be celebrated in the 2022/23 season with an immortal masterpiece radiating optimism. As part of the »Morgen Musik« series, principal conductor Sylvain Cambreling conducts Joseph Haydn's »The Creation«.

Last year the overture »The Presentation of Chaos« was heard, this time – appropriately on a Sunday morning in spring – all three parts of the complete oratorio are on the program. The soprano Mandy Fredrich, the tenor Werner Güra and the baritone Markus Eiche can be experienced as vocal soloists, accompanied by the Europa Chor Akademie Görlitz, whose collaboration with the Symphoniker Hamburg has already proven itself in countless joint concerts.
