4. Familienkonzert

Television presenter Ralph Caspers, known from the German children’s show “Die Sendung mit der Maus”, is coming to Wuppertal to tell the musical fairy tale of “Peter and the Wolf”. There cannot be a more daredevil, virtuoso or happily chirping bird than Peter’s best friend – played by the flute in Sergei Prokofiev’s story. There is no other instrument that can make a cat slink through the grass and, at the same time, prey on birds in a more velvety fashion than a clarinet. And the oboe is unrivalled in reproducing the quacking of the fat duck. Ralph Caspers and the members of the symphony orchestra will introduce them and all the other instruments to the children.
