As a colophon to the baroque cycle, the director and harpsichordist Eduardo López Banzo, creator of Handel's extraordinary Orlando represented in Les Arts in 2008, discovers the musical universe of the Madrid organist and composer José de Torres, titular maestro of the Capilla Real and key figure of the Spanish Baroque that drove the modernization of musical practice. In front of his ensemble Al Ayre Español (National Music Award 2004), Banzo recovers some of the cantadas at the Santísimo written by Torres, such as the beautiful Afectos amantes, in the expressive voice of Maite Beaumont, interspersed between Handel sonatas and anonymous pieces from the beginning of the 18th century.

Como colofón al ciclo barroco, el director y clavecinista Eduardo López Banzo, artífice del extraordinario Orlando de Händel representado en Les Arts en 2008, nos descubre el universo musical del organista y compositor madrileño José de Torres, maestro titular de la Capilla Real y figura clave del Barroco español que impulsó la modernización de la práctica musical. Al frente de su conjunto Al Ayre Español (Premio Nacional de Música 2004), Banzo recupera algunas de las cantadas al Santísimo escritas por Torres, como la hermosa Afectos amantes, en la expresiva voz de Maite Beaumont, intercaladas entre sonatas de Händel y piezas anónimas de principios del siglo XVIII.
