Athenian audiences know the Belgian conductor Michel Tilkin and his work very well, thanks to his highly successful collaborations with the Athens State Orchestra in recent years. As a distinguished interpreter of the Greek repertoire, he will leading a performance of Georgios Lambelet's celebrated Feast and a recent work by Lefteris Veniadis. Theodore Kerkezos and Theodosia Ntokou, both soloists who have achieved considerable international acclaim, will bring this season to a spectacular close with performances of two outstanding concerti, for saxophone and piano respectively.

Ο Βέλγος μαέστρος Μισέλ Τιλκέν είναι γνωστός στο αθηναϊκό κοινό από τις πολύ επιτυχημένες του συμπράξεις με την Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών τα τελευταία χρόνια και μάλιστα διακρίνεται για τις εξαιρετικές του αναγνώσεις στο ελληνικό ρεπερτόριο, το οποίο και φέτος εκπροσωπείται στο πρόγραμμα της συναυλίας με την περίφημη Γιορτή του Λαμπελέτ αλλά και με ένα πρόσφατα γραμμένο έργο του Ελευθέριου Βενιάδη. Ο Θεόδωρος Κερκέζος και η Θεοδοσία Ντόκου είναι σολίστ με ευρεία διεθνή αναγνώριση και αναμετρώνται με δύο σπουδαία κοντσέρτα του σαξοφώνου και του πιάνου αντίστοιχα, κλείνοντας θεαματικά τη φετινή καλλιτεχνική περίοδο.
