Singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra made the jazz forge world stars. But the dark side of the vibrant city - broken hearts and burst dreams - are reflected in the titles of this time and give them their bittersweet charm. They come from brilliant minds like Cole Porter, Irving Berlin or George Gershwin, who later shaped Broadway. Singer Anke Sieloff and director Carsten Kirchmeier follow their footsteps with a jazz trio led by pianist Martín Sotelo.
