Το μοναδικό Κοντσέρτο για πιάνο του μεγάλου ιταλού συνθέτη, πιανίστα και διανοούμενου Φερρούτσιο Μπουζόνι είναι έργο κολοσσιαίων διαστάσεων. Γράφτηκε το 1904 και, εκτός του ότι είναι από τα εκτενέστερα κοντσέρτα στην ιστορία της μουσικής (υπερβαίνει τα 70 λεπτά), έχει ανδρική χορωδία στο φινάλε –κατά το πρότυπο της χορωδιακής φαντασίας του Μπετόβεν– προσθήκη που είναι ιδιαίτερα σπάνια.

The unique Piano Concerto of the great Italian composer, pianist and intellectual Ferruccio Busoni is a work of colossal proportions. It was written in 1904 and, in addition to being one of the longest concertos in the history of music (exceeding 70 minutes), it has a male chorus in the finale – modeled after Beethoven's choral imagination – an addition that is particularly rare. Even more impressive are the terrifying demands of skill and physical endurance it places on each performer, which makes it a must-see in concert halls. The virtuoso pianist Panagiotis Trochopoulos, armed with his virtuoso skill and assisted by the experienced chief musician Byron Fidetzis, dares to present the Concerto in a concert of historical importance that piano lovers should not miss.
