청중에게 짙은 호소력으로 감동을 전달하는 바리톤 김영훈은 가톨릭대학교를 졸업하고 이탈리아 피아첸차 G.Nicolini를 졸업하고 이탈리아 파르마 Orfeo 아카데미를 졸업하였고 프랑스 마르세이유 국립오페라 센터를 졸업하였다.

그의 입상경력으로는 이탈리아 San Dona Di Piave, 스페인 Bilbao 콩쿨에서 입상하였고 Tebaldini, Terre dei Fieschi, G.Zecca, Alcamo 콩쿨에서 2위에 입상하였고 Pienza, Pelizzoni 콩쿨에서 입상 및 특별상을 수상하는 등 수 십회의 콩쿠르에서 입상하여 유럽 현지에서 그의 실력을 입증하였다.

또한 오페라 <돈 빠스꽐레>,<라 트라비아타>,<라 보엠>,<에르나니>,<팔리아치>,<리골레토>,<일 트로바토레>,<가면무도회>,<토스카>,<사랑의묘약>,<까발레리아 루스티까나> 등을 유럽 유수 극장에서 주역으로 출연하여 오페라 가수로의 입지를 확고히 하였다.

2009년부터 2023귀국 전까지 이탈리아 독립기념일 기념 콘서트, Umberto Giodano 서거 60주년 공연, 스위스 송년음악회 등 이탈리아, 스위스 등 유럽 각지의 콘서트에 초청되어 연주하였다.

Baritone Kim Young-hoon known for powerful voice graduated from the Catholic University of Korea, Conservatorio di Musica G. Nicolini di Piacenza, Orfeo Accademia in Parma in Italy and Centre National d'Insertion Professionnelle d'Artistes Lyriques(CNIPAL) in France.

His accolades include awards from international competitions held in San Dona di Pave in Italy and Bilbao in Spain and received the 2nd prizes from Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition, Terre dei Fieschi International Lyric Competition, Giannino Zecca International Opera Singer Competition and the Alcamo International Competition along with some awards from Rinaldo Pelizzoni Competition and Opera Pienza Competition. In addition, he has established himself as opera singer with competence in Europe by appearing as the major role in such operas as “Don Pasquale,” “La Traviata,” “La Boheme,” “Ernani,” “I Pagliacci,” “Rigoletto,” “Il Trovatore,” “L'Elisir d'Amore,” “Un ballo in Maschera,” “Tosca,” and “Cavalleria rusticana.”

Between 2009 and the return to Korea in 2023, Kim was invited to special concerts for Italy’s Liberation Day, the 60th anniversary of the death of Umberto Giodano, Switzerland’s New Year’s Eve and many more.
