In the autumn of 1802, it really dawned on Beethoven that he was losing his hearing. Dejected and full of anxiety about what this will mean for his career and life, he makes a will. What we in posterity know as the Heiligenstadt testament.

Beethoven's testament is concert theatre, where the Odense Symphony Orchestra together with the world-famous pianist Katrine Gislinge play excerpts from Beethoven's wonderful works, and actor Lars Simonsen unfolds the story of the composer's struggle with a threatening and potentially devastating hearing loss.

Beethovens testamente er koncertteater, hvor Odense Symfoniorkester sammen med den verdensberømte pianist Katrine Gislinge spiller uddrag af Beethovens vidunderlige værker, og skuespiller Lars Simonsen udfolder fortællingen om komponistens kamp med et truende og potentielt altødelæggende høretab.
