Sinnlichkeit und Virtuosität pur: Mit Jessica Pratt und Lawrence Brownlee geben sich zum Festivalauftakt zwei Weltstars die Ehre. Die australische Sopranistin und der US-amerikanische Tenor, die zuletzt 2021 gemeinsam in Rom mit Bellinis „I Puritani“ beeindruckten, sind nun im Konzerthaus Dortmund mit einer fulminanten Belcanto-Gala zu erleben. Bereits 2017 brillierten sie bei Klangvokal in Rossinis „Le comte Ory“ und präsentieren nun unter der Leitung des in Wien und Paris gefeierten Dirigenten Giacomo Sagripanti Arien und Duette der großen italienischen Belcanto-Meister.

Pure sensuality and virtuosity: With Jessica Pratt and Lawrence Brownlee, two world stars will be honored to open the festival. The Australian soprano and the American tenor, who last impressed together in Rome in 2021 with Bellini's "I Puritani", can now be experienced in the Konzerthaus Dortmund with a brilliant bel canto gala. Already in 2017 they shone with Klangvokal in Rossini's "Le comte Ory" and now present arias and duets of the great Italian bel canto masters under the baton of conductor Giacomo Sagripanti, who is celebrated in Vienna and Paris.
