About this concert
The BBC SSO and conductor Alpesh Chauhan bring the festival weekend to a close with the final notes Bruckner ever wrote, the incomplete Symphony No. 9. There’s something deeply spiritual, other-worldly even, about this final work which Bruckner dedicated ‘to my beloved God.’ Be moved by the heart-on-sleeve emotion and declaration of faith, expressed in exquisite orchestral colour.
