Using compositions by Johann Strauss, Ralph Benatzky's fast-paced revue-operetta draws a cross-section of Casanova's illustrious life, with stops in Venice, Zaragoza, Vienna and Potsdam. Even at the premiere in 1928, the Berlin city audience was inspired by the comedy, the virtuoso dance interludes, the lavish opulence and last but not least the waltz-filled and melodic music - so indulge in the "intoxication of pleasure"!

Ralph Benatzkys rasante Revue-Operette zieht unter Verwendung von Kompositionen von Johann Strauss einen Querschnitt durch das illustre Leben Casanovas, mit Stationen in Venedig, Saragossa, Wien und Potsdam.
