Make way for the Liedersänger ! The German tenor Christoph Prégardien, long associated with the baroque repertoire he has traversed with the most eminent conductors (Jacobs, Herreweghe, etc.), but also at ease in major romantic works such as Le Voyage d'hiver , delivers today hui a bold Schumann programme, the Liederkreis op.39 on texts by Eichendorff and the Diechterliebe ('the loves of the poets') on poems by Heine. The British pianist Julius Drake, accompanist emeritus of lieder and goldsmith of chamber music, will follow him during this almost metaphysical journey specific to the works of the composer.

Le ténor allemand Christoph Prégardien, longtemps associé au répertoire baroque qu’il a traversé avec les chefs les plus éminents (Jacobs, Herreweghe…), mais aussi à l’aise dans des oeuvres romantiques majeures comme Le Voyage d’hiver, livre aujourd’hui un programme Schumann audacieux, le Liederkreis op.39 sur des textes d'Eichendorff et le Diechterliebe (‘les Amours du poètes’) sur des poèmes de Heine.
